First Peek………..this picture is of one corner of My Craft Room. My Craft Room is a converted 2 1/2 car, boat deep garage! I have this table pictured and another larger table. I can comfortably seat 18-20 people for classes and the table space is wonderful when setting project kits for classes/events.
The other side of the room has a stamping area, an embossing area and Mixed media area. The far side wall is a big Ikea unit of paper and my collection of punches that don’t fit on the wall you see in this photo. The front side of my room (where the garage doors are on the outside) is a bank of Ikea units for embellishments and mixed media stuff.
Coming into My Craft Room is a wall of 325 different completed cards that I sell and are on display. I keep the ready to finish kits on shelves and are organized by theme and are numbered. I will be uploading those cards into My Card Shop as time allows. They are cards that were done for classes. I make up extra kits for my weekly classes so they are ready to finish at a moments notice for those that need a quick card or those that don’t stamp at all but love to send handmade cards with Stampin’ Up! products.
In case you are wondering why I need such a big area? I used to own a Rubber Stamp/Scrapbooking store for many years and as one knows, especially when teaching you accumulate a lot of stuff!!!! Before becoming a Stampin’ Up! demo I had over 10,000 stamps alone! I have 3 Ikea units with drawers in each cubby that houses a portion of my old stamps. They are organized by Theme. More to follow as time allows……………….
