Hello Hello! Welcome to another edition of Technique Tuesday. Today we will learn a technique called Direct to Rubber using Peony Suite. The Peony Suite stamp set by Stampin’ Up! is especially well suited for this Technique. The Peony Suite stamp set is a “Distinctive” set. Distinctive means there is a more realistic look to the stamps and the artist has added extra enhancements to the shading of the stamps. This type of stamp lends itself especially well to the Direct to Rubber Technique.
I will show you how the Direct to Rubber with Peony Suite works. The main needs are a stamp and markers. It is quite simple and takes us back to our school days when coloring with markers was the way to go. Watch the video below for a demonstration of this technique.
